One-stop sterilization supporting solutions for medical, laboratory and device industries
EO-sensitive indicator labels designed for visual identification of whether product packaging has undergone an ethylene oxide sterilization process.
Ethylene Oxide (EO) Sterilization Indicator Labels contain EO-sensitive chemical ink that undergoes an irreversible color change when exposed to the combined effects of ethylene oxide gas, temperature, humidity, and time. The common color change is red to blue, with other colors available upon request.
The labels are applied to the outside of product packaging to visually distinguish whether the package has undergone the EO sterilization process and help prevent mixing between processed and unprocessed batches.

1. Apply Correctly
Apply the label to the surface of the external packaging. Ensure the EO gas can contact the indicator ink surface and do not cover the label.
2. Store Properly
Store in a dry, dark environment and protect from light to prevent premature or false color changes.
3. Check the Color Change
The entire indicator should change color uniformly. If the color change is uneven or mottled, the result should be considered unacceptable and the package should be reprocessed.
4. Single Use Only
The indicator label is intended for one-time use and must not be reused or subjected to repeated sterilization.
A color change does not mean that sterilization has been successfully completed. This product is intended only as a process indicator and must not be used alone as the basis for sterilization release. Sterilization release also requires appropriate internal indicators, biological indicators, and PCD device verification.
